Hello BA families.

Staff Appreciation
This week is Staff Appreciation Week here at Brittan Acres. Let me be the first to thank our dedicated staff that works together to create this amazing, nurturing, and positive learning environment for our children.

  • Sergio Criollo and José Garcia: Thank you for cleaning and maintaining our facilities with great attention to detail.
  • Cathy Eitel: Thank you for your dedication to children, parents, teachers, and staff.
  • Denise Drach: Thank you for supporting our students’ love of reading.
  • Joyce Strauss and Leslie Maynard: Thank you for lifting up our emerging readers through our Literacy Program.
  • Laura Macfarlane: Thank you for teaching all of us the social and emotional life skills that allow our daily success.
  • Miss Carole, Miss Gerri, Miss Heather, Miss Tracy: Thank you for supervising our lunch and recess times so that our students are happy and relaxed.
  • Inger West: Thank you for supporting our school’s technology needs, and teaching our children tech skills through integrated lessons in our lab.
  • Cindy Fondacabe: Thank you for modeling fitness, good choices, and healthy play in your P.E. lessons and lunch recess games.
  • Lyn Reiley, Adriana Squarzon, Kathy DeLago, Sonia Cronin, Marie Young, Sandra Tucker, and Jenny Brady: Thank you for the thoughtful ways you reach students who learn uniquely through your work as para-educators.
  • Liz Green, Bakul Soman, Maria Del Rio, and Peggy Shor: Thank you for your special services that enable the achievement of many of our students.
  • And not least, our outstanding classroom teachers: Thank you for your commitment to the future. You will never fully know how your relationships with your students-—and the myriad lessons you teach through your words and actions—will influence their lives and the history of the world.

Sincerely,

John Triska
